June 24, 2017 - Beautiful zin/cab nose (nose worthy of a 95!) but mostly zin, entry is spicy black fruit with well-integrated tannins. Just a beautiful nose and entry point. Mid weight mid palate with more black fruit and perfectly balanced spice. Finish is long with more tannin and spice. The finish still has some mouth watering acid that goes on for 30 seconds with some strawberry/raspberry notes to it. Not a lot of depth to this wine, it's pretty one dimensional, but many good things still make it a delicious wine. Could be on its downside as far as fruit, compared to 2 years ago but still has life given the acidity present. Still, I'd drink this sooner rather than later. Better as it gets to room temp. Chilled, it's best qualities are restrained quite a bit.

Finished the Coravined bottle a few nights later with friends....beautiful purity of flavors, especially when compared with a couple of other reds that night. Great, clear and expressive nose which held all thru the evening. A very nice red/black fruit combination which went down way too easy. None of this left but on my next trip to Calistoga, I will stop in to see Mr. Seps and pick up more!

May 8, 2015 - This was one of our most pleasant finds.....a beautiful floral nose on opening....needed no time in the glass but def improved over 45 min of time. An absolutely delectable zin (51%) cab (37%) blend with merlot and petit verdot mixed in.....soft, velvety, just the right fruit with delicate spice but not watered down or weak.....wish we had more than 1 bottle left.

November 30, 2014 - This deep ruby/red wine (a blend of 51% Zinfandel, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot) flaunts intense aromas of wild berries, anise, pine and chocolate. Full-bodied, fresh and with nicely integrated alcohol (14.5%), it delivers flavors in line with the nose. The tannins are medium in weight and mildly grippy in texture. Layered and building in the middle, it concludes with substantial length. This somewhat unorthodox blend takes the best from each varietal to create something memorable. Drink now-2019.

September 3, 2014 - Great blend of zin and bordeaux varietals. Zin for the zest, the others for the balance and backbone. Very nice, Jerry!

September 4, 2013 - Tasted at winery. This red blend has a look of blackberries. Jammy, but not obnoxiously so. Good minerality and moderate tannins.

May 25, 2013 - Nicely balanced, food friendly blend. The zinfandel ran the show, but the supporting varietals gave it interesting complexities. Classy.
