December 29, 2019 - Deep, dark and brooding wine that almost manages to hide it’s high alcohol. Served immediately after opening, it may have benefited from being decanted.

December 15, 2019 - Aired out nicely and softened noticeably. Dark, brooding fruit with hints of cigar and roasted kale.

June 10, 2018 - Nice legs, dark ruby with some brown around the edges. Medium body. Thin nose of dark berries and a hint of anise. Dark berries on the palate and a long peppery finish.

August 3, 2017 - Big, bold, and juicy. Great Rhone blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Petite Sirah. Tastes fruity with blackberries, black cherries, licorice, and oak. Lots of heat (and harshness) from it's 15.7% ABV, so definitely needs a long decant. Medium to full bodied; nice finish with dusty tannins. I consider this one of my "House Wine."
