April 19, 2024 - Penultimate bottle. Very good, maturing nicely, red fruits, tobacco leafy, gravel, almost Graves-like. Good density of fruit, lean, still a bit of tannin but deepening flavour.

April 13, 2024 - Enjoy this. Garent red. Red fruits, cream and chalkiness. Well balanced, clean and delicious. Still a good amount of tannins here. Lovely!

November 27, 2023 - This has turned out so well for a wine that certainly had the green meanies in its youth. There is still some green here but in a good way and it's balanced by tangy dark cherry and blueberry fruit. Succulent and mouth-watering acidity prevails with a fine, taut finish showing notes of minerals and tobacco juice. Well done and still so fresh.

November 21, 2023 - Decanted for 6hrs. The wine pours a deep ruby, med + aroma intensity, bretty (as is the Baudry way) and developing. Aromas of horse blanket, stable, red peppers, dried lilacs, crushed chalk, white pepper, pomegranate, cranberry, cooked raspberry, tobacco, and sous bois. Better on day three back in the bottle, like- much better. In the mouth, the wine is dry, med + acid, high tannin (maybe that's the brett messing with me), med + body, med alcohol, high flavor intensity, med + finish. Palate matches the nose, however, the brett was a bit distracting upon opening, and needed some time to blow off to let the fruit shine (3 days did the trick). A weirdly awesome wine, also seems to be pretty divisive every time some one pulls one out. I like the wine, thought it was very good, can drink now, with further potential to develop in the bottle.
