December 2, 2023 - For my tastes, the tannins were largely resolved, expressive nose, smooth on the palate, with still enough structure to frame it. No real evolution in the direction of cigar box or typical Bordelais flavors, this tastes like aged, pleasant California cabernet.

December 22, 2021 - In a nice place now. Needs air, its disjointed, hot and too acidic initially. 30-60 min decant recommended. Lovely.

October 18, 2020 - Deep tar, leather, tobacco, chocolate nose. Most prominent fruit is raspberry, with some interesting tart blood orange background. Some stony/slate character too. A tad too “hot” but otherwise decently sophisticated. Pairs well with barbecued steak, as Rudius usually does.
