July 23, 2016 - Tasting very nicely but not going to get any better. Plumb and black currant come to the surface and no bite at the end. Very smooth

January 1, 2016 - Purchased on release. Powerful as befits the vintage, youthful and a good drink for sure But here's the problem: it's kind of a stagnant youthfulness. It's just kind of frozen in time. The wine has merely gotten chronologically older without evolving, without developing the satisfying secondary nuances I crave in aged cabernet. IOW, there was really no point in cellaring this past the 5-7 year mark.

April 14, 2015 - outstanding. I was concerned because according to CellarTracker this vintage is on its last legs. But, although this bottle had thrown a lot of sediment, the color was deep and the wine was delicious. I think it will last a few more years.

April 13, 2015 - Quick note from a friends 50th bday party. Drank from a double mag, had the finesse of abeja wines, fruit driven with minimal oak influance and spice fruits.

November 27, 2014 - Wow, powerful wine but balanced. The nose had great dark fruit, leather and coffee notes. The palate was full of currant, dark plum and dark berries. The tannins were still present along with the acidity and should easily go another 5 to 8 years. Very nice.
