  February 9, 2014 - Good for price. Not terribly exciting. Great weekend afternoon with snacks and a movie wine. Not something I would use for a special occasion. I prefer a more robust cab whereas this is more alcohol foreword and short on finish.

  February 23, 2013 - Light fruit and just a touch of earth, dense but not dark red glass.
  A bit of oak mixes with palate and a bit of tabacco mid. It has a touch of heat, for an inexpensive cab decent.

  January 25, 2013 - Purple with a red edge. Ripe blackcurrant, blackberries, vanilla and dough on the nose. A bit of alcohol heat too. The same black fruits in the mouth, but also plum and chocolate, with a strong lingering flavour of mocha oak. Medium length only. Soft tannins for a cabernet. A perfectly acceptable quaffer but you must have a tolerance for oak.

  December 4, 2012 - Some heat on the nose but generally better integrated on the palate. Simple and a little bit boring, this provides acceptable quality for the price but with no real differentiation from its $10-15 competitors.
