November 1, 2019 - This wine wowed me on opening, and drinks well tonight. I love it, and wish I had more. The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like raisin, mushroom, lead pencil, black pepper, cinnamon, clove, tobacco and oregano. It tastes like black currant (cassis), prune, sandalwood, bark, tobacco and stems. The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
