April 13, 2023 - Made from Parellada - Catalan variety
    Pot stills and solera aged.
Smells so strongly of wine, like red wine.
One the palate, there's walnuts, red fruit and floral notes.
    Mouth-coating with spicy toffee notes.
Very Spanish, like a really fine Brandy de Jerez, but less sweet.

May 21, 2018 - Extremely aromatic nose of Sherry cask. Incredibly smooth with Brandy back bone. Drink at room temp or even slightly chilled, but no ice. I tried it with one cube, no bueno.

October 2, 2016 - I don't normally like cognac so I was little hesitated to buy brandy, but the bottle was so beautiful that I wanted to give it a try. And it's By far the best brandy I've ever tasted (and much better than any cognac).

October 7, 2015 - Smells like very expensive furniture, fruity too
Rich, walnuts, dry finish, some red fruit
    Big but not sweet
Halfway between a brandy De Jerez and an Armagnac
Some dried fruit on the finish
    Lively and good

June 5, 2014 - I don't usually like cognac so I was very surprised to find this brandy that I like quite much. I can also say that the bottle is really beautiful (and also quite difficult to open). And the cage I bought it in also fits the bottle. It's one of the most beautiful alcohol products I own.

October 28, 2012 - Parellada and a touch of 1972 Folle Blanche. Deep amber colour; molasses, floral touch, dried fruit (apricot, orange), Christmas spice, good depth; on the palate surprisingly lively and fresh, rounded and soft, attractive, flavour of candied orange, less oaky than expected; good but not great length.
