April 2, 2023 - Deepening gold but not browning. Nose of honeysuckle, Meyer lemon, citrus blossoms, with complexity. Overall impression is relaxed but not the least bit geriatric. Although acidity has toned down, it’s not a tired wine. Palate echos the nose. Medium plus body, subdued acidity with some "oiliness" reminiscent of white Rhones or perhaps aged Semillon.

But any caramel character acquired by many older whites is completely absent. It’s remarkable how many high-toned fruits and florals directly and indirectly still express themselves. Well stored, yet impressive longevity. Equally enjoyable (with different nuances, but not fading) at multiple temperatures over almost 3 hours.

March 20, 2023 - I prematurely suggested the demise of this rich bodied beautiful Rhone. , in my 2018 and 2019 notes here. I thought it was peaking 4 years ago, but it’s just as good tonught. After an hour,, the nose shows petrol, chalk, white flowers, talc, butterscotch, and apple, and further explodes in the mouth with red pear, viscous caramel apple, tarragon, and spearmint, subtle acidity keeping the wine alive. Pair it carefully with roast tarragon butter chicken or grilled veal, white meats with crispy edges, and you’ll enjoy the best of this beauty. 4 or 5 years left, I think.

February 28, 2020 - Nice aged CDP blanc. A bit closed at this time. I would wait for a few years at this point to open back up

February 8, 2020 - Short note - oily, orange, orange peel, floral notes, medium acidity, solid concentration, but a bit unbalanced, somewhat heavy and a bit disappointing. Still a very good wine, 89p

November 14, 2019 - At a good point. I would recommend to decant. Some of the overt richness has faded, but no sign of advanced age or closing down. Nice texture and lingering finish
