June 11, 2023 - Outstanding classic style CDP. Dark fruit, prune, spice and a little earthiness. Drinking well now.
April 10, 2023 - Not for the faint hearted, this is the Real McCoy in terms of old school Cambie neuf. Extremely ripe fruit, hints (but just hints) of prune, loads of sun here, sweet Grenache speaks volumes, fils the mouth ... a meal in it self, you might say, until the ribeye starts grilling.

April 9, 2023 - Had pretty low expectation on this one but it is surprisingly good for what it is. Serious dark fruit but not over the top.
February 25, 2023 - Very tasty if less complex than anticipated. Very dark fruit-forward with some of the CdP spice and herbs we all love. Paired perfectly with lamb tagine.
December 19, 2022 - In a great place.
Moving into a secondary phase on the nose. Along with the black cherry and plum, sloe gin liquor, but then with a bass note of leather, tobacco and roasted spices.
Black cherry kirsch, plum, backcurrent to taste. The earthiness of the nose comes into the palate too. Good density and silkiness and grippy tannins at the back.
Really nice wine. In its drinking window with secondary characteristics but also the fruit and tannins to last for the next few years too.
September 16, 2022 - @ Yakitori Nonono NYC. This was a bit woodier than I expected. Nice earthy aroma, with a pleasing and polished mouthfeel, but the finish was a bit short and gentle. Went really well with innards like heart and liver. Great wine, but expected more.
December 16, 2021 - Looking at my recent notes, I don't think this was correct. Seemes a wee bit tired with the alkcohiol showing to much. Popped and poured, tasted over two days, slightly fresher in day 2, still not where it should be, I think - to many prunes here. Immensely concentrated though.

June 5, 2021 - Tasted vis-a-vis Combe - and over two days - this is more concentrated, more alcohol on the mouth feel, more sweetness - but not over the top - finds it's own balance. Better on day 2, don't rules these wines out, just because the fashion has changed ...
May 23, 2021 - semble deja un peu vieux et evoluer, a besoin de carafe beau produit mais je suis pas plus que 92-94.
May 22, 2021 - J’aurais beaucoup aimé donner une plus grosse note, car on perçoit bien la qualité du vin autant au nez qu’en bouche, mais l’alcool est trop présent et gâche un peu l’expérience. Il faut dire que mes attentes étaient très élevées. Prêt à boire.
