April 3, 2020 - Cherry nose that’s starting to evolve into kirsch. Some red fruits. Unfortunately the tannins haven’t really mellowed. The slight bitterness often seen with that domain seems a bit more pronounced in that vintage. Shame as the concentration and length is quite impressive for the cote chalonnaise

Nez parfumé, beau mélange de fruits des champs, d'épices & de sous-bois. Petite dimension vert en arrière plan (cèdre ou poivron vert? Pas certain). Nez agréable & invitant.
Bouche agréable en attaque sur les petits fruits rouges légèrement épicés. Cependant ces belles saveurs tombent rapidement. La finale est serré, astringente, sur des notes vertes & trop acide... Trop d'amertume. Bref, relativement agréable mais sans plus. -
