    May 19, 2019 - Easy to drink

February 4, 2019 - Tasted after the 2012 vintage. This showed more red fruits (crunchy, gritty), higher tension, and less savory elements. Serious acid and tannic structure. It may not be as long-lived as the 2012, but it should evolve and last until 2025-2028 or longer.

    January 30, 2019 - PopnPour, tasted over 3 hrs
    -med dark red purple
-rich dark fruit raspberry spice white pepper
-med acidity gives initial bite, med/med+ weight and depth focused berry fruit cake kirsch spice, a little bit of bitter EtOH heat and med/med+ tannins on fairly long finish
-has gained some depth over the past several years, darker fruited more complex and richer than the '08 tasted last night while retaining that same quintessential grenache-predominant profile, while this hasn't developed any mature elements it is drinking very well now and should for many more years as it continues to evolve

January 30, 2019 - The nose was cigar, herb de provence, leather and blood with chalk, almond skin, sweet cherry and twisler. In the mouth rich sweet cherry, kirsch, pipe tobacco and black pepper with horse sweat, wet gravel and milk chocolate. Medium to full body, good acid and still firm drying tannin.

Very good now but I will likely wait at least a year to open another and can go at least 8 to 10 after that.

December 24, 2018 - Round. Smooth. Good fruit. At the right point to drink. Also for 10 years.
