February 9, 2024 - Nice wine for every day pasta dinner. Needs to breathe to soften. Not over the hill. Probably would last a few more years though don’t need to wait. Drink now.
October 29, 2023 - Cellar tracker says this wine is beyond the drinking window. Don't believe it. If you have any in your cellar- celebrate. It is delicious and drinking well.

August 18, 2019 - Tasted along with 5 other older Barolo. This was the simples. However balance was fine, brown orange colour and fine taste of orange peel, herbs, spices and dry roses. Intensity and aftertaste however not so profound.
July 14, 2019 - Opened one hour in advance. Aroma of dark cherry and dishwater. Prunes and tobacco up front, some licorice in the finish. Okay, but heavy handed, with some stewy notes. Nowhere to go but down from here.
July 11, 2019 - Opened 6 bottles. 5 were undrinkable. Now tasting the last bottle which is still in a fit star to drink
March 29, 2019 - Off. Undrinkable

May 28, 2018 - Color was well bricked, a very definite brown tinge. Initial nose is blackberry's and some barnyard. Just after opening has flavors of unripened cherries. Develops after some time to a more robust and nuanced cherry, savory character. Still has youthful flavors as well. Good acidity, long finish.
