May 8, 2021 - Sadly, three last bottles all in various stages of oxidation. Two past their best but drinkable (just). Other further gone. Shame. Very rare with this producer in my experience, but fair enough given age, appellation, and vintage I guess. Oh well, not indestructible!

November 29, 2019 - Touch reductive but mineral, bright, surprising presence for this entry cuvée. Drink now.

April 6, 2018 - Lovely- beautiful nose, difuse on the palate but gained a bit of weight and complexity over time.

May 23, 2015 - Blossom, pear, wet stone, liquorice and a hint of grass. Briney and very mineral, with lemon liquorice finish. Nice but not memorable.

December 17, 2014 - Took a good 30+ minutes in the decanter to mellow the matchstick. After that, creamy lemon curd took over along with green apple, pear, nuts, and orange rind. Tart and crisp with a creamy mouthfeel. Had with fresh Steelhead topped with honey and pink peppercorn-lemon-thyme spice...one of the best pairings I've had in a long time.

August 6, 2014 - (At RN-74 - San Francisco) Pale yellow color. White flower and melon nose really satisfies. Excelelnt young wine that is lithe but shows very good finishing depth. Flavors are pure and very balanced. Delicious now but will only get better with some age. Refined Saint Aubin. (90+)

June 12, 2014 - Colour: Clear, straw yellow.
Nose: A mix of fresh sliced white peach, pineapples and pear alongside some nuts, lemon zest and a creamy vanilla note. Needs a bit time to open up. Use big glasses.
Palate: First impression is fruity but than the nice acidity kicks in and make the wine a very fresh experience. Love the salty minerality on the mid-palate. Good mouthfeel. Maybe a bit a lack of power in the end. Even though this is a pretty wine.

June 9, 2014 - A perfect match with chicken and egg noodles drenched in a tarragon cream gravy. Matchstick blew off after 30 minutes to show a wine full of verve, creamy vanilla, tart apple, pear, apricot skins, nuts, and rich lemon. Thick but acidic. Nicely balanced with a medium plus finish. Going to seek out more from this producer!

    June 4, 2014 - Straw yellow, clear.
Bread, some acidic yeast, then fleshy fruit (white peach, pear).
On the palate some sweetness and roundness, but it's very fresh too.
A little saline on the mid-palate. The finish is on pear and citrus, with a saline touch. Very enjoyable.

May 26, 2014 - Rich, savoury, food-friendly, intense and very fine all at the same time. Not very complex or long but really delivers. We had this with dressed crab which worked well. You can find a Chassagne at the same price (or cheaper) but this St Aubin would be better.
