December 24, 2020 - Really great! PnP, drank over two days. Was ready to go right out of the gate and didn’t change much over time, except that the initial heat dissipated. On the nose, dark berries, jam, beet juice, cigar box and a little tar. On the tongue, full bodied with gorgeous smooth tannins. Raspberry, black currants, tobacco with a medium to long ending. In a really good place now. It’ll probably keep another few years but I don’t think it will improve.

September 20, 2015 - I really enjoyed this - Barossa can really produce nice, decadent cabernet in a good vintage. Sure, this was a bit hot and spirity, but there was also a lot to like. Cassis, chocolate, crumpled autumn leaves, cedar, spice. Lots going on but it all comes together in a very delicious package. Improved over night too.

July 20, 2013 - Leafy blackcurrants. Rich. Dry. Good fruit. Quite varietal for a Barossa cabernet.
