October 13, 2007 - The nose had currant, blackberry, and barnyard aromas. The palate was very flat with only simple medium dark fruit, and green tobacco or stemmy flavors. Medium bodied with a short to medium length finish. Not bad for what it is, but not enough there to try to analyze it like we did either.

April 10, 2007 - Opened and tasted. A little manure, a little currant, a little bark on the nose. Black cherry at the start moves to cedar and leather towards the finish which is a little off balance, but not unpleasant. Excellent value.

December 26, 2006 - Cherry notes on the bouquet that continue to the palate. A little vanilla ice cream in the fruit...a little weird. A little tea leaf in the finish which is good. Slight tannins but no length on the finish.
