February 23, 2020 - Enjoyed dark boysenberry fruit of this Zin with barbecue brisket. Lush mouthfeel and structure has held remarkably for ten years.

    September 28, 2015 - pretty darn tasty,
Paired well with BBQ ribs, chicken.
Drink or hold a couple more years most.

June 13, 2014 - Friday late night drinks at Davyd's place.
Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of toasted oak, strawberry, boysenberry, red cherries. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol, smooth medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavor intensity, with flavours of toasted oak, strawberry, boysenberry, red cherries, slight anise spice, and a touch of leafiness.
Very good quality Zinfandel. Elegant and refined. Drink now and over the next 2 years.

June 2, 2014 - De Loach Tasting (Top Wines): Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of smoky toasted oak, strawberry, and boysenberry. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol, smooth medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavor intensity, with flavours of smoky toasted oak, strawberry, boysenberry, dark cherries, slight ?anise spice, and a touch of leafiness - showing up the difficult conditions of the 2010 vintage in Sonoma.
Very good quality Zinfandel. Nice drinking now, and will continue over the next 2-3 years.
