January 3, 2022 - I'm upping this score from what I normally would rate by a point because it's drinking so damn well. I wanted to sample this magnum with my new Coravin -- but once I started, I can't stop drinking it. I wish I had 4 more magnums. I've been sucking this bottle down, glass by glass for several days and doubt the remainder will make the dinner party I've planned later in the week. Just a nice claret, at or near its peak. No flaws, no guilt. Enjoy.

September 20, 2021 - Similar to previous tasting note. Blueberries, blackberries, cocoa, basil, some laurel, hint of green pepper. Still holding up fairly well.

January 18, 2020 - Tannins have not yet come together. Marked heat, black pepper, dark blue fruit. Low oak, not that typical for a Merlot dominated blend. A good wine but in no way memorable.
