    January 29, 2019 - Dense purple/ violet color - unfiltered
Medium aromas of blue/black fruit with hints of leather/ wet earth - moderate oak influence
Medium palate of black fruit - not a lot else
Medium(+) tannins which are a little dominant presently
    Medium acidity
Well made wine but doesn't reach the depths Ive had in other Douros

April 28, 2018 - Amazing on pop and pour. Great balance of fruit, tannins and secondary flavors at 9 years of age. Balance was def off after a day open in bottle - thinner and more acidic.

January 25, 2018 - 3 hours of decanting. Nose of Berries, spice, leather and liquorice. Dark ruby with medium finish of earth and mushrooms. Time to drink but will last few more years so no rush.

September 17, 2017 - A very dark ruby in the glass, nearly glass-staining. A nose of blackberry, black currant, dark cherry, leather and a touch of blueberry. Excellent intensity and concentration, and equally excellent acidity, this was performing on all 8 cylinders. Paired wonderfully with grilled hamburgers, bratwurst, hot chicken wings and fries, and will be good for several more years. Lots of sediment with the last glass.
