More earth as it opens tannin still peaks through in the background. -

June 13, 2010 - opened 24 hrs prior to tasting. Not unpleasant - still had some life; although fruit had definitely faded to nothing more than a background note. Initial surge of earth, moss and muted mushroom... went nicely with the prime rib. Leather and lace finish.
