September 17, 2023 - Incredible Paulee of Musigny from older vintages. The 1999 Vougeraie was not on the same level as the 1999 Comte Georges Vogue, but similar in quality to the older Jacque Prieur Musignys. We drank about an hour after opening, and probably needed to be opened 30-60 min earlier. Got much better halfway through the bottle. Incredible depth and aromatic nose. 94 vs. the 1999 Vogue, which I rated a 97.

December 5, 2012 - Chris's Birthday at Black by Ezard (Sydney, Australia): Earthy nose as well as black cherries, dark florals, lightly peppery and still showing some oak. Lovely texture on the taut and very well structured palate. Really good stuff, but probably needs another 5-10 years to hit its peak.
