February 2, 2016 - Aging gracefully. A dark fruited, robust wine that feels like it has put on weight since I last had it. No hurry to drink whatsoever.
July 25, 2015 - Great bottle, juicy and long, with old world low alcohol that encouraged downing of the entire bottle in one go.
October 28, 2014 - Very funky bottle, may have been defective.
December 27, 2013 - Really nice. Round sweet fruit in a light-medium bodied and well balanced package. Just starting to highlight some secondary nuances. A good wine and a nice change of pace.
October 12, 2012 - Wonderful chocolate and cherry nose. Sappy, meaty, extracted, and young. Approachable but quite a long way from maturity in my estimation. Lots of potential.
April 4, 2012 - A touch of funk, somewhat immature still, but lots of substance. Excellent despite a bit of roughness.
September 16, 2011 - Very acidic. Maybe it di dage well or was bad.

March 3, 2010 - Delicious w/ rich, ripe but bright & lively red fruit (cherry, raspberry), silky tannins, leather and spice. Very bright acidic wine (some may even find tart). I wish I had a case...
February 22, 2009 - Color was dark ruby. The nose was mineral with a ripe raspberry back note. On the palate, there was good medium weight. The wine was lithe and complex with dried fruit, a kiss of vanilla, a bit of tobacco, and a ferrous note to boot. The length was good, but not great. It was a good drink.
