Community Tasting Notes 8

December 25, 2021 - Nothing bad here. Just as good as 1st bottle in 2013. More earthy tones but still some fruit just subdued.

October 18, 2014 - Poured through Vinturi and decanted 3 hours. Lots of alcohol and long legs that mute the rest of the bouquet of dark fruits. Medium palate. Again lots of alcohol with Strawberries, Dark Cherry and gritty tannins toward the finish which is what I have enjoyed the most. Lengthy. Feel like I opened too soon.

July 20, 2014 - Good, we'll made wine. Not overly complex but definitely showcases the jamminess of malbec and structure of its cab. Still, not a wine that needs cellar time. Drink w/in next two years w grilled meat

July 1, 2014 - Decanted 2 hours. Other tasters have nailed this already... a mindless drink that is very enjoyable. Big, juicy, oaky, blackberry and black currant fruit, plum skin, toasty oak, some minty nuances. Not very complex, but quite tasty. Found this for $19 on clearance, and it works at that price point. Drink now.

November 25, 2013 - Big, concentrated and fruit forward, this wine delivers dark, blackberry fruit that is chewy and delicious. Nothing subtle about this Malbec blend, but is a fun wine to drink.
