March 4, 2024 - Nose as complex as it is precise which exudes new aromas with each passage: floral, spicy, honey, peach and anise.

The mouth is like the nose: density and precision. The attack is rich, with aromas of honey and spices, then it becomes more vaporous, but still precise, with fresh peach and white flowers. The juice has a magnificent structure and balance that propels and complicates the wine. Beautiful finish, which is much drier, on mineral salts and wet stone with great length.

Excellent Riesling, complete and kaleidoscopic. There are some residual sugars hanging around but nothing bothersome for those who are sensitive to sugar. Moreover, the wine was at ease at the table with Asian cuisine and soft cheeses. The wine seems picked at good maturity although an additional period of aging will not scare it.

May 8, 2022 - Luminous light golden color. Ripe, tropical fruit nose. Full, rich, and moderately sweet with a fascinating combination of candied pineapple and tart citrus. Bracing acidity and a strong dollop of soil. Basically Vendange Tardive level wine in its intensity and sweetness, but it is electric and lively due to its great acidity which manages to give it a focused, crystalline quality. This should continue to be fascinating over the next 10 to 15 years.

December 30, 2021 - Golden color, I’m aware that there is RS but it’s so well balanced and integrated that it’s barely noticeable. Small bit of VA on the finish, worth noting but minor. Riesling character dominates the nose, with some botrytized honeyed notes. Golden apple pineapple and mandarin orange, thick viscous, like a 1990 auslese. ImpeccAble oddity

July 18, 2020 - Again, seriously good wine in a wonderful drinking window. Dark honey/straw color and long legs high viscosity. Spiced peach/apricot, pear, orange with hints of cinnamon. The thick and unctuous fruit is buoyed by lively acidity and freshness.

June 26, 2020 - This wine was amazing! It came highly recommended at Hi-Time wine shop, and I was hesitant at first since it was $120, however we enjoyed it tonight with pan seared Barramundi, which was a good pairing since I used a delicious French garlic herb butter; From the nose to the depth in this wine--just a bit f residual sugar will enable this wine to pair with a variety of different dishes. We held back the temptation to dring it quickly; Well we only made it to 2 hours; this may be one of the best alsacian wines I have experienced. I had to immediately order more bottles online; It will be extremely difficult to avoid temptation by drinking the rest of the bottles right away.
