September 18, 2022 - Drank from magnum. Delicious wine and surprised by it’s youthfulness. It benefited from a 2 hour decanting. Classic notes of cassis, black cherry, vanilla, cedar and mint with substantial tannin grip.

May 1, 2021 - Stupid good. My wife/fearless home chef decided to whip up Beef Welling tonight. Hmmm, need a big ass wine for BW. Why not, I ain't leaving this stuff behind anyhow. Decanted an hour prior to supper.
Dominating nose of dark, rich fruit and Columbia Valley soil. Layers of really elegant flavors across the palate, changing as the wine warmed in the glass. Integrated fruit, earth and attitude make for a super delicious wine. I'll bet this has another 10 years before it shows everything. -

June 17, 2018 - Dark red fruits and cassis up front with vanilla, nutmeg, and hints of graphite on the mid-palate. Tannins are still noticeable, but does not detract from the imbibing experience. This could age easily for another 5 years.
