February 21, 2014 - I bought this and another bottle at a wine store in Saratoga, New York purely on speculation. I dragged my youngest adult son hours across the Adirondack's in search of a decent wine store in upstate New York; footnote: there are none. Anyway, this small production, cooperatively produced Piemontese Nebbiolo blend is a quite delightful wine. Well worth our trek across NY. Full of heady, rose bud aromatics. Round and balanced in the mouth. A long, slightly sweet finish with just a touch of tannins. At about $25.00 per bottle it is a bit pricey for an everyday house wine but I can guarantee that any bottles you open up at home won't last the evening.
