December 28, 2021 - Quelques jours après dégustation.
J'évite de lire ma première critique...
    Robe jaune doré très dense.
Nez expressif et distinct. Caramel écossais, sucre d'orge, pomme cuite.

January 31, 2019 - having a few years on it, this chardonnay was a rich golden color. lots of acid and creamy mouthfeel. tastes of ripe pear and a hint of citrus.

    September 30, 2017 - Un vin wow !

blistered lime aromas. elegant clove. great acid profile. lime, pear and just a hint of whipped cream. oak has really worked its way into this wine with little to no attention drawn to it. I wanted Talley and then saw this. makes me so happy.

January 14, 2015 - So far I have largely avoided 2011 Cali chardonnays, as I don't care for the leaner character of the vintage.
However, this is my favorite 2011 chardonnay so far - Dutton-Goldfield pulled it off. This is a well balanced chardonnay, showing a bit too much oak/butter on the nose but stone fruit, mineral, green apple, and oak.
This paired well with crab stuffed sole, showing enough acidity and body to stand up to the rich food.
The most impressive aspect of this wine is the lengthy and complex finish. Well done.
    Wife - 90, Me - 91.
