    November 5, 2022 - The Canard-Duchêne was pale gold and lovely. The nose has a little delicious funk to it – a little melon, a little apple, and a bit of salty, briny cheese. The apple and salinity carry over to the palate, along with a hint of almond and vanilla. A nice clean finish.

    January 15, 2020 - Lunch at Meii Sushi with Davyd and T+C. Drank in Gabriel Standart. Tasted blind.
    Appearance is clear, pale intensity, gold colour. Legs. Bubbles.
    Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of golden apples, toast, brioche, autolytic yeast. Developing.
    On the palate, dry, high acidity, low alcohol (12%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of toast, brioche, golden apples, yellow pears. Medium+ finish.
    Good quality. Fairly simple. Nothing distinctive.

    September 14, 2015 - CIVC Champagne Tasting 2015: 70% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier - 4 years on lees, 12 g/l dosage. Rose and cherry, spice and earth. The palate has good carry and the spice gives it an extra dimensin over the touch of the sweetness. The rich, sweet style is quite distinctive and works in this case.
