Community Tasting Notes 9

March 10, 2017 - Think the community has this right. Good quality pinot, well balanced, drinking fine now. But perhaps too little thin or light to be considered a big boy. Decent value for $38.

October 14, 2016 - This has a pleasant, concentrated core of red fruits, leather and earth, although I thought it lacked a tough of acidity to keep the wine in balance; Still enjoyable, however

June 20, 2015 - (winter-solstice christmas Brunner@Ben's) Vibrant roses and orange blossom, leathery funk and forest floor, almost the pacific northwest! More dark floral rose on the palate, funky meaty savouries, perfumed, textural, and somewhat spritzy. An exuberant bottle, lively and generous. Incredibly yummy on its own, but also graciously accomodating with Geoff/Ad's superlative Turducken! What a treat!!

August 2, 2013 - Willamette Valley Oregon Trip 4 & 1/2 Days; 7/29/2013-8/4/2013 (Willamette Valley, Oregon): no notes. screw cap.

July 19, 2013 - This wine is better every time I have it. For top consumption enjoyment, decant for one day, put back in bottle, give it the Mollydooker shake, then pour. Provides a great mix of fruit, body and structure. Nose: citrus based, esp orange, spices, but closed, even at day two. Taste: acid in the forefront, fruit secondary, and good viscosity/mouthfeel. Lots of verve. This continues to get better in Bottle.
