February 19, 2021 - Big nose of fruit and graphite that screams Napa Cab, with a subtle nod to Bordeaux. Really great, balanced palate with a long, fading finish that lingers for a while.
Give this an hour in the decanter to remove sediment and get some air, then enjoy.
Stunningly good wine drinking beautifully now. Should hold for quite some time, but I think now is its peak. Almost a 95, but just misses. -

September 7, 2019 - Opened up beautifully after one hour. Great balance and smooth. Dark berries/cherries, tobacco and spices. Nice complexity at this point.

November 27, 2018 - Great on PnP, no aeration necessary, though it didn't lose any appeal by sitting in the glass either.
Slightly sweet at first taste. Bright and energetic. Interesting.
This had some spice and was very smooth and oh so easy to drink.
Great today and ageing may mute the bright flavors...but will hold for years if you prefer them aged. -

April 15, 2018 - I picked this wine on accident, thinking it was a bit more pedestrian and affordable for a family dinner. Wrong! However, it was brilliant with layers of depth and complexity and finish. It's a quintessential California cabernet but with an especially good softness and mouthfeel. What a winner. If you're reading and consider, pop it open, decant for an hour, and enjoy.
