December 5, 2014 - Good stuff! Nose is very much like a young pinot (even though this is 100% Gamay) with zesty fruit and intense spices. High acidity that needs some air and time to get accommodated with. Good fruit, intensity and length. A fun and interesting wine, but maybe lacking a bit off depth and complexity.

February 11, 2013 - What a striking Gamay, full of citric energy and cut with piles of limestone-ish minerals and gloriously fresh red fruit with a fair amount of sappy intensity. Chiseled and very well defined with great structure and poise. Totally awesome, and cheap ($23).

January 10, 2013 - Popped and poured it showed lots of berries in the nose, but the mouth were too acidic. Put it in the big decanter and it started to show what it is all about. Lots fruit came up. It is a very terroir driven, tastes like Burgundy. The gamay shows a lot different here than from the Beaujolais.
