August 6, 2020 - I had the bottle in my cellar for probably over 30 years. I had low expectations. But, wow, it was in great shape. Beautiful earthy tones, cigar, blueberries, good acidity, length.

April 15, 2020 - Geen uitgebreide proefnotitie.

No extensive tasting note. However, the comment that this wine "according to the theory / WA" had its best time in 2015. Drunk tonight. Butter-soft, beautifully ripe bouquet, no trace of hardness or fatigue. A beautiful, dignified old man.

February 8, 2020 - Acker 200; 2/7/2020-2/8/2020 (The Pool & Cipriani): From a big bottle and just one of those wines that you think of when you think of old Bordeaux. Bright and vibrant and leather and cigar and like the inside of a very old school steakhouse. Perhaps a bit of herbal garden. A touch spice. Slightly dark. Drinking well.

February 2, 2020 - The best part of the wine is the Andy Warhol designed label. Dusty, lean, green and seemingly to have rapidly dropped its remaining fruit, this austere, cranberry and cassis filled, medium-bodied wine is for a First Growth, that sells for a lot of money, frankly not all that interesting.

January 17, 2020 - MD’s Birthday Wine Dinner @ ZYX: My 1st Mouton for 2020 courtesy of MD. Blackcurrants, berries, forest floor, cigar box, spice cake, with a nice rustic finish. Silky tannins with nice acidity. For the age, this is a beauty. Note to self - seems like older Moutons may be the way to go (for Moutons).
