    May 30, 2021 - Nowhere close to the 2011 or 12.

August 2, 2020 - Opened, decanted an hour+ before serving. Ripe and powerful black and blue fruit with plenty of richness, yet also elegant and well balanced through long-ish finish. Started losing steam after three hours in glass, so clearly in its peak window, best to enjoy within the next decade.

January 20, 2020 - had the pleasure of sipping this beauty with Sam at Vie
I was afraid to write that the fruit was almost sweet, but then I cheated and saw another note that agreed
A beautiful elegance to the fruit and earthy notes starting to show some secondary characteristics
less fruit and more integration the 2nd day
    years of life left

February 7, 2019 - Starting to show some secondary notes of molasses hint, bourbon barrel, super earthy. I love the acidity in this, seamless finish. Hitting its stride right now and will drink well through another 10yrs.

October 22, 2018 - Lots of very ripe black and blue berries on nose and palate with very dense concentration and a roasted meat finish. Very long and powerful, yet elegant and texturally charming. In its peak drinking window, best through 2029.
