    May 28, 2023 - Sangiovese Fever,

I wanted to have some good old Sangiovese from my cellar, this one was one of them...

Exquisite nose of dried cranberries and soft ripe fruits, a little earthy but mostly ripe/dried red fruits, but no feel of alcohol or overripe ! It just shows greatly how aged Sangiovese can be, with loads of ripe fruits and earthiness.

Supple palate, of red berries, balanced with vibrant and refreshing acidity, plenty of savoriness here, tannins are melted in fruits, and earth... it is a very good wine, still capable of aging some more. I hope I'd have one more go these.

Just great. Fades away quickly after opening.

December 1, 2022 - This is delicious brunello that is still fresh and bright. The fruit and tannins are well balanced.

December 31, 2020 - Typical nose with cherries, tea bag, chocolate, herbs, integrated oak.
Tea bag, cherries, soft but present tannins, high acidity, licorice, lead pencil, menthol and a long aftertaste. Perfect to drink now do not have to keep it longer.

April 11, 2020 - Nice, clear and dark red color. Shows vibrance on the nose with fruit and tobacco. Slightly lower on acidity than expected. Wealth of compexity and full bodied with forest berries, tobacco, licorice, chocolate. Long ending. Think this is at its peak now. Had with leg of lamb, which paired very nicely.
