November 25, 2021 - Day 1 the fruit was somewhat muted, but it opened up nicely and gained some weight on day 2. Nice pairing with Thanksgiving dinner. Drink now with short decant or hold for another 5 years.

April 30, 2021 - Smooth and balanced. Fresh dark red fruits on both the nose and palate. Dark red colour and meniscus. Classic quality Pommard profile.

May 4, 2018 - A pleasing mix of red & black fruit and soil aromas on the nose. Medium-light body with grippy tannins and ripe acidity. A palate of dark fruit shows great length & balance on the finish. Classic Pommard. Quite good.

April 6, 2014 - Knightsbridge 2011 Burgundy Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Tasting, brief note. Ripe, all black fruit with some espresso hints. Good length, very firm in a classically Pommard fashion. Good.

November 21, 2012 - ***From barrel: Expressive sweet fruit, moss, wet forest; wild "fraise des bois" with iron infusion; medium body, fine tannins, good concentration, medium robust, excellent balance. Pousse d'or wines seemed to be standouts amongst most 2011's.
