February 22, 2020 - Wine in the Sunshine State; 2/20/2020-2/23/2020 (Florida): Opened and decanted prob an hour before serving. One of the only Grand Crus of the evening. It fits with the Corton reputation of being a bit bigger with a little more muscle to it. Still in the earthy style.

January 30, 2020 - At Bite of Hong Kong

Darker pinot fruit, iron, meat, and spice on the nose. Full bodied and a bit foursquare, with still noticeable wood. Tannic and a little chunky, with more power than grace. Still very good, and it is Corton, but for me, it lacks the lift and balance to be outstanding at this phase. It may improve with time, as it still seems pretty firm and young. Still very enjoyable and better with the food, especially the Peking duck.

January 30, 2020 - Wild nose with sauvage, tart acid, crunchy dark fruit, brown sugar, leaves - sous bois. Juicy on the palate with lots of acid, funk and sous bois. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 16/20.
