February 26, 2018 - Dinner at Formento's (Chicago, IL): Big, sharp nose of savory notes and white fruit. the palate is round and creamy but with good acidity. Super creamy and luscious. Delicious in a savory, bigger style. Seems to be in a good spot now 7-8 years post vintage.

January 19, 2018 - This is a fantastic Champagne, mature color and nose those charming apples, soft approach, sadly just one left, hard to get!

December 26, 2017 - Wow this wine is getting so delicious. Color deep yellow, nose mature apples, a whiff of curry, taste soft and good aftertaste.Remember these Champagnes should not be touched in at least 5-6 after disgorgement date.

October 14, 2017 - Pinot Meunier at it´s best, charming fresh Champagne some dried fruits and chalk with a oxidative note in the background. Is approachable but can be kept another 5 years.Drunk from Zalto Universal.

  • TheLittleHorse Likes this wine:

February 19, 2017 - Slightly more advanced than a few bottles I have tasted in the past but the nose had the typical scent of dried apricots, fresh minerality and chalk that is often found in Prevost's wines. Hints of red fruit (raspberry) and some pineapple, much fruitier than what I have become accustomed to from drinking these.
