September 21, 2020 - Had this alongside the 2011, both are a bit tart and simple and rather neutral. There are more interesting aligotes out there. Second bottle a few weeks later: a bit riper and pleasanter to drink. But again not that impressive.
June 26, 2020 - Lemon peel and lemon aromas and flavors coming across as still bright from start-to-finish with good balance, medium weight. My final bottle from a case purchased upon release.
November 24, 2018 - Lemon and lemon zest aromas, with the same flavors alongside some apple notes on finish. Still very bright and fresh with good weight.
November 16, 2018 - Lemon and lemon peel with plenty of acidity and minerality. Still vey bright and fun.
November 1, 2018 - Yellow and green apple with lemon. Overall good balance and length. Great value wine, still easily drinking well.
July 6, 2018 - Lemon and green apple with bright acidity, still nicely fresh. Good balance and length. Holding steady.
October 7, 2017 - Slightly more lemon than green apple with lots of bright energy. Slightly fresher vs last bottle, this was wonderful with rich shrimp course.
August 13, 2017 - Lots of tart apple that has matured nicely, with acidity seemingly softer vs several years ago. Consistent with another bottle last month. Great value wine.
July 22, 2017 - Tart green apple, maturing slowly, with good weight and very good balance. I've been drinking a bottle or two every summer since release, and this is now at its best. I plan to finish the case within the next year.
August 9, 2016 - Tart lemon with floral hints. Lots of acidity, so much better with food than on its own. Holding nicely, surely this will still be drinking well for several more years.
