May 24, 2023 - Tasted this at the Almaviva Wine Dinner organised by Infinite Wines at the Nest @ One Farrer.

Made up of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Carménère, 9% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot.

Cool weather vintage. Fresh wine, with low yield. Muted nose with a mature palate. Impressive length and finish. Slightly grippy in the finish.

April 9, 2023 - This is on the downside at this point. The tannins are completely resolved and while a nice wine it’s lost some of the character that it has a few years ago. Drink up now - pairs well with fish at this point.

July 9, 2022 - High viscosity and red tears in the glass.
Velvety soft on the palate. Tannins are perfectly balanced.
Aroma's of chocolate, ripe black fruit, cedar, vanilla, pepper and spices with a long finish.

By far the best wine I had since long.
Drink now, but still has some cellaring capacity.

June 2, 2022 - Decanted 1+ hour. Ready to drink but no hurry. A massive wine, with lots of fruit. The complexity has not really increased much over the years, unfortunately. Nevertheless a good wine and fun to drink. 93 pts. at the moment.

  • Brevetti Likes this wine: 95 points

May 29, 2022 - This wine is a perfect mix between french classical style and new world. Obviously, the grape varieties used are the main explanation.
The wine is hot but still has a beautiful freshness.
The lenght is very good, as well as the complexity.
    Real good surprise!
