Community Tasting Notes 4

September 17, 2013 - Had a bunch of grainy...cereal-type notes on the nose in addition to the typical honeydew, and pepper notes. The palate had some waxy lemon notes, with some pepper and salt on the finish. Not overly exciting and far too pricey.

May 4, 2013 - Wachau Spring Wine Festival (Wachauer Weinfrühling) (The Wachau): Citrus and cigars on the nose, a serious wine with a pleasant austerity on the palate, underpinned by a streak of liquorice. € 34. ****

April 1, 2013 - The nose was clean with steely notes of green apple, minerals, undergrowth and a hints of tropical fruit. On the palate, it was rich yet unbelievably pure and balanced with ripe, white fruits and spicy inner floral tones, which lasted beautifully through the mineral laden finish. Stunning.
