December 12, 2018 - I was pretty sure this was going to be past its prime, and it was flat and grapejuice-y on opening. With some air it took on weight and had some nice bright cherry flavors with a pleasant mouthfeel.

May 31, 2016 - Another awesome recommendation from Full Pull Wines. We've enjoyed this every time we've had it. Really think the Negroamaro grape is underrated. It's earthy and spicy but the fruit truly shines through on the finish. Highly recommend and I've been drinking it over the past 3 years now with further improvement as it ages.

January 19, 2016 - I think this is the only bottle of a Negroamaro-dominant wine I have purchased; having to work to describe it. Boysenberry in the lead, I think, with a nice spicy component and drying tannins like in a Petite Sirah. Quite nice, excellent value.

October 25, 2015 - Earthy. Smooth. Great quality for the money at under $10. Fried up Italian peppers with bread, salt & pepper and served with a block of provolone cheese. Reminds me of summers growing up. Luscious!

October 8, 2015 - Still drinking well, but it's time to finish up. Previous notes apply, but it's softening up.
