September 10, 2015 - Vlotte, vrij stevige, tamelijk kruidige wijn. Goed bij spaghetti.

September 26, 2013 - Moderately translucent dark cherry red color. Juicy, succulent nose with aromas of sweet raspberry, brambly blackberry, strawberry jam, some sun-baked earth, a little vanilla oak and a rather noticeable streak of boozy alcohol. Quite straightforward and indistinct on the palate: there are flavors of blueberry jam, wood, chocolate, alcohol, some musty old furniture and a hint of stale bread. Alcohol (14,5%) not only feels, but tastes as well. Tannins are mellow and few, acidity is low. The wine is very soft, quite full-bodied and almost completely without structure. The finish is rather sweet, but quite thin and dull as well, with boring, plain flavors of strawberry jam, some woody bitterness and a hint of sweet vanilla.

This is a super-soft, easy-to-approach and completely structureless crowdpleaser with no character to speak of. A complete underachiever that is incredibly generic and deadly boring. A complete rip-off at 11,28€. Avoid.

September 7, 2013 - Wine had a musty nose. Made me think of my old attic. It had a fresh palate, but also with the same musty finish. Not very fond of it. Perhaps I had a bad bottle?
