April 7, 2021 - Incredible, complex full bodied wine
November 11, 2020 - This wine is just hitting its stride. Dark purple with lots of tobacco and dusty tannin. A very solid wine that could go for another few years -- it really opened up after a couple of hours. Its expensive at $140, but you can really taste the high-quality northern Napa Valley ingredients and the extra effort that goes into making such a limited (hand-made) production.
November 10, 2020 - Dark ruby in color with a short purple rim. Not showing age at all.
Fruity nose of blackberries, sweet plums, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola, licorice, light alcohol, chocolates, mocha, peppercorn, leather and tobacco. A nose to smell on for days.
Full bodied with medium acidity, bold and rich with long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, sweet cherries, raisins, vanilla, cedar, licorice, cloves, herbs, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, earth, cola and pencil lead.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
This is a great Cabernet sauvignon from Napa Valley. Showing great complexity and mouthfeel. Well balanced and fruity, with a spicy finish.
Still young and needs 5 years of bottle time, but this 11 year old is drinking very nicely now.
Gorgeous nose and very tasty on the palate. A great Cabernet to drink by the porch with good friends.
Robert Parker 94 points.
Needs a few hours to open up properly. Only after 4 hours, tannins came in, so please be patient.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a nice piece of steak.
A small production of only 389 cases.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
94 points.
$175 (current vintage).
October 30, 2020 - Dark brick almost black in the glass. Nice floral aromas. Hint of heat on the back end. Dark crushed fruit of blackberry, blueberry, cassis, and dark chocolate. Smooth integrated tannins with a rounded mouthfeel. Nice structure and depth. Terrific wine.
November 1, 2019 - I couldn’t resist and brought it to our monthly CWG-D last night. Everyone loved it, they thought it was younger. I stand behind my previous notes.
Drink or preferably Hold!
March 8, 2019 - Bold and classic fruit forward Napa Cabernet. For fruit’s lover “drink now” it’s beautiful! In my case I will hold onto my last bottle for at least 3 years and I’m sure it will be at a much better stage.
Don’t get me wrong, the wine is well balanced, full body, perfect amount of oak and long finish, but the high tannins will outlive the high fruit and will be in a much perfect harmony in the future...

December 15, 2018 - this has hit a nice early drinking window with dark and tart fruit and a beautiful length
years of life left
December 16, 2017 - Really nice and much improved experience relative to the last bottle from ~two years ago. I concur with the previous detailed tasting profile “blackberry... etc.”. A slightly dry/hot after taste mid-palate. Enjoy now or over the next year or so.
September 2, 2017 - drinking excellent now. 1 hour decant.
April 20, 2017 - Love this wine! Really great and in a perfect drinking window tight now. I bought it at a discount place for $109 and its a bargain at that place and more.
