June 25, 2019 - Medium ruby. Savory, meaty nose of beef blood and cured meats, along with tomato leaf, herbs, white pepper, chalk, and graphite. Medium body and length, bright acidity, and flavors of dark red fruits, tomato, beef jerky, and minerals. Very savory wine here. Different and interesting, though certainly not for everyone. Pair it with a burger or steak, or a charcuterie and cheese plate would probably be spot on.

January 12, 2018 - Agressive acids make this much better with food than on its own. Nice character.

February 7, 2014 - Plum & blueberry, fresh, glossy, luscious, but fruits too blue for me.

February 15, 2013 - Aromas of plum and blueberry with some menthol lift. Slightly lighter fruit on the palate - a mix of red and black berries. This bears more than a passing resemblance to Loire Cabernet Franc. So fresh! I loved the 2010 but this is even better.
