February 26, 2024 - No formal note. Reductive at first with strong struck-match aroma. Quickly blew off and turned into a rich wine with preserved lemon and some tropical fruit, creamy texture, and plenty of oak influence.

June 12, 2018 - The usual reduction upon opening but within an hour of being open it evolved with incredible florals and minerals. Palate is dense but open with laser sharp acid. Glad I have another.

November 1, 2015 - The best of three bottles. Crisp with minerals, citrus, and a light nuttiness. Maybe I enjoyed it more than my other bottles of it because of the excellent truffle cheese we had prior to dinner. It was a great pairing.

April 17, 2015 - No formal tasting note. Tasted side-by-side with a 2011 Jean-Marc Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chaumes at Atlas in Atlanta. Both were quite good (though young) great acidity and mouthfeel. I'd give a slight edge to the Champlots.
