March 22, 2023 - Still fire!
February 18, 2023 - Very very nice for a 1er cru hence the 94. Excellent colour, and vivacious minerality frames citrus, chalk, and even a hint of secondary honeyed fruits. This is drinking really excellently and I reckon has a bit more positive secondary development in store.
October 28, 2022 - Magnum. Perfectly balanced classic Vaulorent. Peak at 11 Y
October 16, 2021 - 2011 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis 1er Cru Vaulorent ($40 in 2014). Sharp light-mid green gold; low-mid viscosity (12.5 alc.); green fruit, citrus, lime, wet stone and pear nose; dry; medium-plus acids; medium body; some depth; medium long semi-crisp green fruit finish. w/seafood appetizers. 16.5 UC Davis scale, 91 other scales.
September 24, 2021 - Excellent Wine. Still quite young, could have aged another 10 years. Flavors well integrated now however and drinking beautifully. Pale gold color, classic Chablis nose, long finish. Does not have the full depth of a grand cru, but a perfect match for our scallops in a creamy pan roasted tomato sauce.
December 26, 2020 - As always with Fevre, a crafted and well-knit wine. Lemon and dry flint on the nose, flowed by good weight on the palate. Lacking perhaps a little in definition.
December 12, 2020 - Intense classic Chablis palate with loads of minerality. This one really is drinking well right now.
November 28, 2020 - In a really nice spot right now.
August 30, 2020 - Light green yellow tinged color...
Citrusy aroma and some wet stone chalky aroma..
Stone fruit, lime rind, citrus, wraps up in a very citrus mineral finish
With acidic verve to keep it lively......excellent....
July 11, 2020 - Lemon oil, stone fruit, mineral driven.
