March 11, 2024 - Interesting, just a little rich from what I remember

April 3, 2021 - Brick red clean as aged Pinot, light silky palate with high acidity, red fruit aroma but still felt the high alcohol content. Not as impressive as JS remarked.

September 27, 2020 - Nerellos can be a dead-ringer for Pinots but not here. Very high acid and drying tannins, finished a little short. Was reading some CT notes on this and most of were hating on Suckling’s review on this: ‘went in with an expectation of a mind-blowing nose of prephylloxera fruit, tasted like a boring Brunello’. Difficult to disagree with.

February 29, 2020 - A wonderfully elegant bottle that doesn’t miss again. The tannins are so delicate now and the favors of bing and black cherry are sublime. If you like a style that is lighter and Burgundian, then this is for you.
