March 27, 2021 - This has aged nicely and is at optimum drinkability. Great structure and enough fruit for a chub on the finish.

December 15, 2017 - Decanted for 2.5 hours. Kept opening up as evening progressed. A wonderful wine with Grenache really shinning through; no high alcohol muting.

January 26, 2017 - Mostly Grenache here with wild berry berry and raspberry fruit with some subtle spice on the end. Nice body to it, high alcohol content does seem to blow off over time.

October 15, 2016 - Very disappointed considering the ratings, and especially the $50 price. Popped poured and tasted first, let it sit in glass several hours next, and decanted several hours for another glass. It never changed. Has an austere unripe fruit flavor, mostly dark cherry and some licorice. Lingering dark cherry cough drop flavor like one of the other posts said, and a little bitterness at the end like another post. High alcohol showed through all tastings. Light tannins and a medium finish.

August 22, 2016 - Popped and poured, drank over 2 nights. Delicious, savory flavors. Plenty of life ahead, I'd think.
