May 6, 2018 - We bought a case of this wine when it was released, and have gone through half of it. I wish we had purchased more, because I'm told that Miro has changed. This bottle had what I consider to be a near perfect balance of light tannins and deep California fruit. It has softened a bit as it aged, without losing appeal.

April 24, 2016 - Excellent, smooth drinking cuvee. Light in color, very much like a Pinot Noir in many respects. Delicious.
March 11, 2015 - A little green on pop n pour but opens up after a few hours. Shows dark red fruit and bright acidity. Moderate length finish. Drink now.
October 27, 2014 - Wonderful full-bodied dried cassis, dried cherries, hints of tar and earth. Deep browny-red. Not overly dry. Drank with pork tenderloin on the grill. Wonderful combination, wonderful wine.
July 28, 2014 - Plush red fruit with a meaty feel to it. Soft acidity throughout. Smooth on the palate and finish.
June 26, 2014 - Fresh wine, full of cherry fruit. Medium body, with some alcohol heat. Pretty straightforward, decent everyday food wine.
April 13, 2014 - Light bodied and soft. This is all about the varietal fruit. Sweet with some spice and earth with a nice finishing astringency. Not amazing but a very easy quaff.
August 14, 2013 - Meh.
