November 15, 2015 - Drank 2 bottles at a family dinner - what remained in my cellar. Should have been opened a couple of year back but was just ok.

September 15, 2011 - Had among eigth 1998 Shiraz. At times it was among the best, but they all deveped and changed rapidly.A very good interesting wine worth the price.

April 13, 2011 - Dark cherry-red, surprising fruit aromas, mellow, smooth, full. Tannins almost absent and very little oak. Delightful.

June 21, 2010 - Finally starting to show well and holding on much better than most 98s I've tasted over the last few years. The palate has smoothed out considerably, with a velvety texture. Interesting spice box component to the dark berry and mineral driven flavors. Not as inky as in its youth but I definitely prefer where this is now.
